A super-easy, kid-friendly snack that turns leftover boiled potatoes into crispy, cheesy fries. Savory, salty, and delicious!

Ingredients
- Boiled potatoes
- 2 tbsp flour
- Parmesan cheese powder (as much as you like)
- Ground black pepper
- Parsley powder
- Cooking oil (for frying)
Instructions
STEP 1
Boil the potatoes (if not already boiled) and mash them until smooth.
STEP 2
Add plenty of Parmesan cheese powder, 2 tablespoons of flour, parsley powder, and a pinch of black pepper.
Mix well to form a dough.
STEP 3
Spread the potato mixture inside a bowl or tray.
- If the dough is too wet and sticks: add a little more flour.
- If it’s too dry: add a tiny splash of water or a bit more mashed potato.
STEP 4
Flatten the dough and cut it into stick shapes (like fries).
A knife works best to separate each stick.
STEP 5
Heat oil in a pan (just enough for shallow frying).
Fry the potato sticks until golden.
STEP 6
Because the potatoes are already cooked, they fry quickly.
As soon as the outside turns golden and crispy, remove them.
STEP 7
Place the fries on a cooling rack or paper towel to drain excess oil.
STEP 8
Serve warm!
They’re delicious on their own, but you can also dip them in ketchup or cheese sauce.
