For an even more authentic cheesecake experience, consider adding a homemade graham cracker crust at the base. 🧾 Ingredients

  • 1 package lemon Jello (4-serving size)
  • ½ cup boiling water
  • 1 package cream cheese (8 oz / 250 g), softened
  • ½ cup cold water
  • 1 cup whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)
  • Fresh berries (for garnish, optional)

  1. Dissolve the Jello
    In a mixing bowl, pour the lemon Jello powder and add the boiling water. Stir thoroughly until the gelatin is completely dissolved and no granules remain.
  2. Blend the Base
    Transfer the dissolved Jello mixture into a blender. Add the softened cream cheese and cold water. Blend for about 1 minute, or until the mixture becomes completely smooth and creamy with no lumps.
  3. Fold in the Whipped Topping
    Pour the blended mixture into a large bowl. Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully incorporated. The texture should become light, fluffy, and silky.
  4. Portion the Mousse
    Spoon the mousse evenly into 4 to 6 serving dishes, depending on your preferred portion size.
  5. Chill Until Set
    Place the filled dishes in the refrigerator and let them chill for at least 2 hours, or until the mousse is firm and properly set.
  6. Garnish & Serve
    Before serving, decorate with fresh berries, extra whipped topping, or both for a beautiful and delicious finish.
