EGG TOAST

Air fryer egg toast is a super quick, fuss-free breakfast that tastes amazing!
No standing over the stove — just assemble, air fry, and enjoy in under 10 minutes.

🥚 Difference Between Egg Toast & Egg in a Hole

Egg Toast

  • A slice of bread topped with an egg cooked on it.

Egg in a Hole

  • A slice of bread with a hole cut out, where the egg cooks inside the opening.
    If you’re making egg in a hole in the air fryer, place parchment paper underneath so the egg doesn’t drip.

🍞 Ingredients

✔ 2 slices of bread
✔ 2 eggs
✔ 2 tsp butter
✔ Salt & pepper to taste
✔ Seasoning of your choice (Italian seasoning, chili flakes, etc.)

How to Make Air Fryer Egg Toast

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Using the bottom of a mug or glass, gently press the center of each bread slice to make a shallow pocket. (Don’t press through — you don’t want leaks!)
  3. Butter both sides of each bread slice.
  4. Crack one egg into each pocket.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and your chosen spices.
  6. Place slices directly in the air fryer basket/tray and cook 5–7 minutes, depending on your yolk preference.

⏱ Egg Cooking Tips

⭐ 5–6 minutes = Runny yolk
⭐ Add 2 extra minutes = Firmer yolk

Cooking time may vary based on air fryer size and model. Mine is a Cuisinart Air Fryer Oven, and 5 minutes gives the perfect runny center.How Many Toasts at Once?

Most air fryers fit 4–6 slices, depending on bread size.
I usually make 4 at a time in my Cuisinart oven — same temperature, same time.
Just don’t overcrowd — airflow is key.Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 350°F / 175°C.
  2. Press a shallow pocket into each bread slice.
  3. Butter both sides of the bread.
  4. Crack an egg into each pocket.
  5. Season to taste.
  6. Cook for 5–7 minutes, depending on yolk preference.
